Mom was a woman ahead of her time, with a special regard for fashion, decorating, and health and exercise. Her cooking and baking skills were amazing, with many original recipes handed down to the next generations. She enjoyed all forms of art, including attending the theater, visiting museums, going to concerts and watching music videos with her son in law, Michael. We are blessed to be able to enjoy seeing her paintings in our homes. She enjoyed playing bridge and was an accomplished artist. Mom loved to travel, she and dad explored the world together. She was generous with her love and time, enjoying all the special times she shared with her family, especially her great grandchildren, Levi and Aiden. Family was the most important part of Mom’s life. They had three children and 54 wonderful years together. She came to this country in 1947 and met the love of her life, her Schatzi, our dad, and married him in September 1949. She was a survivor of the Holocaust, and imprisoned in Westerbork and Theresienstadt concentration camps over a three year period. Mom was born in Germany and moved to Holland when she was a young girl. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Henrietta (Baum) Moses.
